Live Music with the Jennifer Ewan Band – Cancelled

The Jennifer Ewan Band perform a stirring mix of compelling original songs and old-time Cajun dance music with a Celtic tint.
The band comprises singer-songwriter/guitarist Jennifer Ewan and reunites two former members of Deaf Heights Cajun Aces in Kim Tebble on accordion/flute and Simon Fildes on bass. Completing the line-up is rub board player Mark Burke (The Boat Band, Buzzcocks).
Jen’s rich and distinctive voice is a link between Scottish song traditions and American country music from Appalachia to Louisiana to Texas. Scots-Cajun mid-tempo personal ballads are grounded in the grooves of Cajun dance music and the unusual interplay of accordion, acoustic guitar and bass.
