Live Music with Celtic Heart
We’re pleased to be able to welcome back Celtic Heart for another performance at The Grog & Gruel in 2019.
Folk duo Celtic Heart have been described as ‘stylists in the Celtic tradition’ and that seems to fit really well.
Heavily influenced by the traditions in Scotland and Ireland, Nina Szifris and Mike Scott can take traditional, contemporary and original songs and tunes and give them their own twist!
They use an innovative mix of guitar, mandocello, bodhran and vocals which can also be heard on their three albums – “Hand On Heart”, “Journey of the Heart” and “The Song Collection”.
