Great Chieftain o’ the puddin’ race
Join us as we celebrate the birthday of the bard, albeit a day early.
Whilst we’re not planning a formal Burns Supper, we do anticipate that there will be a fair bit of Haggis involved, quite possibly a bit of malt whisky, as well as a bit of music.
Haggis, neaps and tatties will definitely be on the menu, but we’ll also be serving up that Great Chieftain o the puddin race in a number of tasty and delicious ways. Anyone who fancies giving the Address to a Haggis will get their supper for free!
And although we’ll have our usual selection of 100 or so of the finest malt whiskies available, we’ll be encouraging you to raise a glass of some rather aptly named whisky to celebrate the birthday of Robert Burns.
We’ve also invited along a few local musicians too, so it promises to be a good bit of fun, with judge a tiny bit of culture thrown in for good measure too.
